As time has moved on through the COVID pandemic it has become apparent in my practice that a large number of people has increasing levels of stress, burn out, anxiety, depression and relationship problems.
These are due to a number of factors such as:
- Increased uncertainty about the future
- Continuous change with rules and regulations which in turn affects:
- Business and finances
- school for children
- arrangements for children
- general home and daily routines
- Social Isolation
- Loss of constructive coping mechanisms such as social support, some physical activities, holidays etc.
- Loss of hope
Now more than ever it is essential to look after your mental health, your relationships and friendships. One way to help you cope with the uncertainty that surrounds the world right now is to ground yourself when you feel uncertain, anxious or out of control.

It can help you to identify all the things that may ground you so that when you feel unstable you have a reference of ideas to help you cope.
